each sachet contains: sodium picosulfate ... 10 mg magnesium oxide ... 3.5 gm citric acid ... 12 gm It is used in adults adolescents and children from the age of 1 year to clear the bowel before an x-ray examination endoscopy or surgery when judged clinical necessary. Use: 1 sachet to be dissolved in a cup of cold water (150 ml). Stir for 2-3 minutes and then drink the solution. Dose: Adults and children 9 years and over: 1 sachet taken 10 to 18 hours before your procedure and 1 sachet taken 4 to 6 hours before procedure. Children under 9 years: 1-2 years: first dose 1 spoonful second dose is 1 spoonful. 2-4 years: first dose 2 spoonfuls second dose is 2 spoonfuls. 4-9 years: first dose 1 sachet (as adults) second dose is 2 spoonfuls.
