About Propofol A short-acting intravenous hypnotic General Anesthetia(Intravenous induction agent). Conscious sedation Interactions for Propofol Opioids muscle relaxants / neuromuscular blockers: Increased anaesthesia increased respiratory depression (opioids) increased neuromuscular blockade. Midazolam thiopental fentanyl: Increased hypnosis. Nitrous oxide halothane isoflurane: Decrease dose.
