NETUPITANT: competitively binds to and blocks the activity of the human substance P/NK1 receptors in the central nervous system (CNS) thereby inhibiting NK1-receptor binding of the endogenous tachykinin neuropeptide substance P (SP) which may result in the prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV PALONOSETRON: It is a serotonin-3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist indicated in adults for (Moderately to highly) emetogenic cancer chemotherapy and prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) for up to 24 hours following surgery. *It is also indicated in pediatric patients aged 1 month to less than 17 years for prevention of acute nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of emetogenic cancer chemotherapy including highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy.
