IBUFLEX 20 TAB

Ibuflex tablet contains a combination of 2 active ingredients methocarbamol (750 mg) & Ibuprofen (400 mg). Methocarbamol is centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant. Its mechanism of action is due to general depressant effect on the CNS. Ibuprofen belonging to propionic acid derivative is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which has anti-inflammatory analgesic & antipyretic actions. It inhibits cyclooxygenase enzyme activity & thus inhibits prostaglandin synthesis. Ibuflex with this combination of methocarbamol& ibuprofen provides relief of spasm & pain superior to that when either drug is used alone. Indications A- Treatment of acute painful muscle spasm due to musculoskeletal conditions such as: 1- Low back pain 2- Myositis 3- Soft tissue disorders sprains or strains 4- Torticollis 5- Prolapsed intervertebral disc 6- Sciatica.
